Waking up on a Friday morning, I was excited to find that it was foggy. I was keen to get down to the park and take some atmospheric pictures of the conditions. There were not too many people around but I was still able to get some nice pictures with my Fujifilm x100v. I processed the pictures with Silver Efex pro3. My favourite ones range from the neutral filter to using high or low key processes. Some of the combinations such as push processing and using a harsh or soft finish all work well. My trouble is that I see a good picture in all of them. There was the addition of a vignette and then an unsharp mask on the pictures. Take a view and I am looking forward to some more foggy starts!
I am just catching up on my photographs. The following are a set of pictures taken in Knowle Park on a misty morning. There is a part of the park that they have just allowed to grow wild. The early mist brought out the spiders webs and the dog walkers look like beings from another planet. All the pictures were done with my Sony RX100v5 and interestingly the most spectacular one was done with the iPhone!!!
It snowed. Also it was very considerate that it snowed on a Sunday morning as well. It was a heavy downpour and I donned many layers before I set off for a journey through Knowle Village. There were many people in the park and activities ranged from sledging to snowball fights. There were very few cars around and several had been left on the side of the roads. Even with my polariser lens filter, snow is very difficult to photograph. My favourite picture was of the red letterbox and mailbox. They have been in Knowle High Street for a very long time and were there when I arrived. Hope you like the pictures and it is starting to look a lot like Christmas now.
